MURAL FOR OLANO
Colombian painter Beatriz Olano’s work is defined by her use of geometry, color, and line, exploring the relationship between objects and space with a distinctly architectural feel. Beatriz and I have shared a friendship and mutual admiration for several years. When she finished her studio, she invited me to be part of it and asked me to create a mural inspired by what she and her husband love most—their favorite moments, foods, and everyday joys. This project has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Thank you, Beatriz!
